Preliminary Sketch for the Poster

This was something done towards the beginning of production. Though the finished poster is drastically different ( we did this so the poster was of a higher standard) from this mock up, we kept the logo in more or less the same style.

Props

We felt that using plastic, a black feltip pen, and a wooly black glove for the the weapon would show how lame and childish The Talon is because he couldn't create a high quality weapon using better materials.. We used string, cardboard, and black feltip pen for his mask which also shows that he is lame and childish.

Costume Planning

The Talon is a lame superhero and pretty childish and we feel that stitching the cape badly will show his character well. We felt that constructing the letter 'T' out of masking tape instead of constructing the letter 'T' out of cloth and stitching that on or using better material further shows how lame he is. We felt that drawing only three scratches on the cape with black feltip pen, despite the fact that the claw that The Talon uses would definitely give a person more than three scratches, showing that he isn't that intelligent either.

Film logo

Location Planning

This is a place that should feature in out trailer, it looks nice as it is both light and dark allowing for good contrast between good and evil.

The buildings here is both dark and untidy this creates an uncomfortable feel for the audience it is also in a secluded location with relatively low lighting this makes the audience feel uneasy as these areas are often feel as if the host fights or provide a location for someone to be bullied

I chose these areas as they are also both dark and secluded, once again these areas are often related to violence due to the isolation

This area appears more peaceful and thus can be used in times when the action is not occurring it can be a place where our heros resides in peace and quite.

The super hero could 'run off in to the sun' or he could be Silhouetted by the sun to appear strong and mysterious standing above the camera which connotes the idea of him being above society and dominate over evil. It could be used at the end of the trailer.

I chose this area as it could be a place for the antagonist to reside as it us both dark and elevated so that it appears both mysterious and intimidating.

One film logo design.

This was the prelimarly for the film logo but we decided no to use it because it was deemed that it had a too serious look for the film trailers comedic themes.
